Three representatives of the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) were at the FSC House for a study tour from 27 to 29 January. The delegation which included the Chief Executive Officer of FSA, Ms Jennifer Morel, Mr Richard Rampal and Ms Zenabe Daman met the FSC Chief Executive, Ms Clairette Ah-Hen on 27 January.
During their study tour, the delegates were provided with an overview on latest development in the financial services sector, and learnt on the successful practices and experience of FSC Mauritius. The study visit is another example of the FSC’s commitment to ensure effective cross border cooperation and information sharing amongst its counterparts. Discussions encompassed the overview of financial services sector, licensing procedures, capital markets, supervision of the insurance sector, enforcement policies and the role of the FSC Mauritius. The delegation also met with representatives of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd, the Central Depository & Settlement Co Ltd and of the Insurers Association of Mauritius.
