BPP University Law School, a leading provider of legal education in the UK, has launched its first ever online learning programme for undergraduates in Mauritius, allowing students to study for the globally-recognised, law qualifying LLB (Hons) degree via a live online classroom.
As a truly international organisation, BPP University Law School has forged a successful partnership with YK Business School to deliver this academic programme, which will enable successful graduates to progress onto professional study and to train as barristers.
At a lavish ceremony titled “Celebrating Legal Excellence in Mauritius” on 12 June 2015, with special guests Honourable S. B. Domah, Supreme Court Judge of Mauritius, Professor Karodia from YK Business School, Professor Peter Crisp, Barrister, Dean and CEO of BPP University Law School and Professor Julian Davies, Barrister and Director of LLB programmes at BPP, Peter Crisp said, “We are keen to support the flourishing legal sector in Mauritius and this event is about recognising the advances that have been made, as well as the challenges ahead, in Mauritius.”
“Our new online programme will give students the flexibility to work around existing jobs and family commitments whilst studying for a world-class law qualification from experienced barristers and solicitors via BPP’s innovative online learning environment”, he added.
