Following to the Communiqué issued by KPMG Mauritius today and published in today’s L’Express Newspaper, the Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (FSC Mauritius) wishes to inform the public that the matter relating to BAI Co (Mtius) Ltd and any of its related entities has previously been referred to the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) for necessary investigation and actions.
The Commission has called upon KPMG Mauritius to submit explanations with regard to its professional and statutory obligations as auditors of BAI Co (Mtius) Ltd and any of its related entities.
