CLT International has recently entered into a collaborative arrangement with CLBS, the Centre for Legal and Business Studies, to launch a range of STEP Courses in International Trust Management for Mauritius. The Foundation is an open entry programme. There are no formal educational entry requirements, although applicants should be aware that all programmes and materials are in English. The Foundation is followed by four Advanced Courses in Trust Creation: Law and Practice, Company Law and Practice, Trust Administration and Accounts and Trustee Investment and Financial Appraisal.
For the purposes of the Mauritius Qualification Authority (MQA), these courses have been approved as non-award courses. On completion of study individuals can attempt the associated exams leading to the STEP Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management (Course 1) & the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (Courses 2 to 5). Upon successful completion of the relevant examination(s), they will receive the relevant award by STEP and, with 2 years of experience, can become a full member of STEP and use the professional designation TEP.
Important Dates
The Foundation face-to-face course will take place in Mauritius from 02 April - 05 April 2012. Enrolment is now open for this course; applications accepted up until 31st October 2011.

- Help you add value to your business and professional practice.
- Arm you with a qualification recognised by those working in the international trusts profession
- Provide a route to becoming a Full STEP Member
The programme is international in content. It covers common international principles and practices, but relates them to your local jurisdiction and offers comparisons with other major jurisdictions. All programme materials are in English.
