Mauritius Vacancy: Head of Trust

Cim Global Business, a major player in the financial services sector requires a dynamic individual who is self-motivated and committed to high performance for the position of:

Head of Trust

The main purpose of the role will be to provide leadership to the day to day operations to the Trust team whilst developing strategies in collaboration with other departments to increase trust business of the cluster.

The incumbent will be part of the Trust team and the main duties will be:

Key roles & responsibilities will include

• To give advice and to provide solutions to client that is both creative and at the same time risk minimal.
• To participate in general product development of the trust business.
• To co-ordinate sales efforts and marketing initiatives with other departments.
• To keep up to date with the market trends and new developments utilising information for business improvement.
• To implement a thorough business take-on process including all modern methods of AML and for obtaining KYC.
• To develop and maintain or improve business relations with all customers.
• To develop objectives aligned with the corporate drive for customer retention.
• To provide innovative solutions; including span jurisdictions and practices.
• To prepare, administer the budget and responsible for the financial results.
• To establish performance goals for team members and monitor performance on a continual basis to exceed the set targets.
• To provide training for the development of the team as the business grows.

Candidate profile

• Degree Holder or Professional qualification.
• At least 10 years Trust experience with some experience at senior management level.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Trusts.
• Excellent knowledge on relevant laws and legislations.
• Have an ability to work under pressure and with a keen eye for details.
• Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
