The Global Institutional Investors Forum (“GIIF”) is a non-profitable, charitable purpose trust set up to debate, represent and promote the views and interests of global investors using Mauritius as an investment jurisdiction. GIIF works with global investors, the Government and local institutions to promote and develop Mauritius as a transparent and well regulated jurisdiction.
GIIF’s mandate is broad, addressing global issues facing International Financial Centres. GIIF’s overarching role is to contribute to a better understanding of the vital role of International Financial Centres such as Mauritius in fostering global economic growth and to advocate policies, measures and legislative reforms to further their expansion. GIIF is a broad platform that brings together Global Business companies, Management companies, Banks, Accounting Firms, Law Practitioners, global investors and other stakeholders to pursue the above objectives.
