Mauritius: Limited Partnerships Bill

The main object of this Bill is to provide for the registration of limited partnerships, and for related matters. A Mauritius Limited Partnership may elect to have or not to have separate legal personality upon registration or anytime thereafter subject to:

1. prior notification being given to the Registrar of Limted Partnerships;
2. the change being entered by the Registrar in the Register and certificate of registration of the limited partnership; and
3. the change not affecting the rights or obligations which the limited partnership had prior to the change.
